Craig Coffey
Craig Coffey currently serves as the Vice President of Professional Services at Cerion Optimization Services. This position was assumed after nearly 4 years of service; creating and subsequently leading Cerion's software Quality Assurance team, which has been pivotal in assuring Cerion's commitment to timely software deliveries with superior quality.
After receiving his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, Coffey began his professional career at General Dynamics, now Lockheed Martin. Coffey was a part of the F-16 avionics team, who specialized in working in systems validation of navigation software and hardware.
Following his time at General Dynamics, and prior to joining Cerion, Coffey spent over 10 years in Research and Development at Nortel Networks in wireless system verification. With Nortel being his introduction to telecommunications technology, he quickly became an expert on AMPS and TDMA RF, which later evolved to include CDMA. Through this experience, he began to develop a deep understanding of measuring and analyzing system capacity under heavy loading environments and became the lead in building a solid team of engineers and lab design to support high volume traffic testing. His proven ability was recognized and his efforts have continued to advance, now supporting GSM and UMTS while at Cerion to provide expert solutions of network capacity issues.
