Dr. Will Egner is a technical leader with over 20 years of industry experience in network consulting, system engineering and software product development.

Egner launched his career as a system engineer for Texas Instruments developing advanced Digital Signal Processing algorithms for autonomous weapon systems. After leaving Texas Instruments, he moved to join Nortel Networks Wireless System Engineering Team. During his tenure, he successfully collaborated with service providers globally to optimize, expand and evolve their networks. As a Senior Manager at Nortel Networks, Egner was responsible for incubating and growing several high impact network planning and technology teams. In 2000, Egner joined Glow Networks as Chief Network Architect where he led a Product development of "optically-intelligent" software that automated design of DWDM optical networks.

In 2003, Egner co-founded Cerion Optimization Services, a Consulting and Software Company focused on delivering "Methodology and Cutting-Edge Software to power better decisions". He currently serves as Chief Technology Officer, North America.

Egner holds several patents in the communication systems field and has authored several papers in this area. Will graduated with B.S.E.E from Clarkson University, M.S.E.E from Georgia Institute of Technology, and Ph.D. from the University of Texas, Arlington. His doctorate thesis topic focused on dynamic re-configuration of wireless communication networks.
