Our vendor neutral Equipment Upgrade Service enables you to identify the optimal network evolution plan that minimizes cost and ensures seamless KPI performance, when undertaking single-vendor platform upgrade(s) - Such as RNC or Packet Core element replacement in the RAN/UTRAN or Core.
As part of this service we work with you to understand your present and planned network configuration, marketing plans and planned vendor upgrades. We then support you in gathering the requisite network data and leveraging the Cerion Optimisertm platform we construct a vendor neutral, multiple technology network model for the existing network.
One of the features of the Optimisertm platform is that it leverages network measurements to facilitate the creation of a detailed demand profile for the existing network that captures voice, data and mobility demand at a site or sector level.
Using a combination of the software's powerful "what-if" scenario analysis and optimization algorithms, we map the existing demand onto a network model that incorporates the new product(s) and compare these to the existing network. We then evaluate and recommend the best possible network evolution plan for migrating from the old to new network platforms.
