Job Location: Frisco, Texas

Job Description: The Software Developer assists in product development for a rapidly growing wireless network optimization company serving the largest wireless carriers in North America. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with demonstrated success developing application components; specifically those that support both the data access and business logic layers of the product. Must be able to create and maintain design documentation from functional requirements. In this role, you will work collaboratively with other engineers in a fast-paced, innovative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Understand high-level functional requirements and translate them into effective solutions

• Deliver high-quality, high-value solutions in a multi-user, multi-tier Enterprise architecture in a timely fashion

• Design and implement Graphical User Interface for the client application

• Design and implement framework components to support additional product functionality

• Oracle Database development (SQL & PL/SQL)

• Design, implement and maintain customer data loading mechanisms

• Work effectively in a team setting with both functional and technical team members

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience

• 3+ years focus on C++ or Microsoft .NET technologies in C# (ADO.NET)

• Experience with developing complex algorithms using C++

• 2+ years experience with Asp.net Web Development

• 3+ years of hands on Oracle, PL/SQL experience (including at least Oracle 9i)

• Familiar with Design Patterns

• Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) experience

• Must be a team player, willing to share your knowledge and experience with the team

• Must be a self-starter and self-motivator

• Demonstrate excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Great independent researcher

• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent degree)

• 2+ years Unix experience is desired

• Oracle DBA experience (able to perform most DBA tasks relating to Oracle DB creation, configuration, maintenance, and tuning) is desired
